The founder, Tiana Allen has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for many years and later dove into the field of education where two loves collided to birth The Wellness Sanctuary, Inc. Tiana is a staunch advocate for volunteerism, and has been involved heavily in the community teaching at nonprofit literacy organizations, colleges, elementary/middle schools, volunteering in hospitals, and participating in events with various partners in the community.

The Wellness Sanctuary, Inc is a safe haven for individuals who wish to seek a place of solace to break free of their musculoskeletal pain. We provide therapeutic Massage treatments as an option to promote good health.

The Wellness Sanctuary, Inc has grass roots in community involvement, thus starting The Journey Institute of Wellness, Inc. A 501c3 seeking nonprofit organization www.TheJourneyInstitute.orgOur mission is to educate communities about the health benefits of Massage Therapy (in conjunction with other means of health and wellness) through community involvement, advocacy and research. Our other goal is to provide current and future licensed wellness practitioners with continuing education courses to increase awareness and knowledge in the field and to better serve our clients.

Our vision, simply put is as followed: Helping to Educate, Advocate and Improve Literacy Through our Hands!

We strive to exude our passion of health and wellness through our practice and strengthen ones knowledge of the health benefits of massage therapy in the community. We believe that by catering to a variety of areas both served and underserved, men/women/children, those with musculoskeletal disorders who cannot afford massage services, Individuals seeking knowledge regarding massage and/or other treatment options, and consumers of massage therapy and other means of alternative health, our vision will come into fruition.
